I just started using Tribe.net this Thanksgiving so I’m still a newbie. I’m about to start my 1st moderated ‘mature’ tribe, which is dedicated to liberty.
Even though it will have a ‘mature’ designation it’s really not about pornography but instead the pursuit of personal freedom, total civil rights and protecting our planet.
Anyway, I’m in a rush to post my new tribe before the Tribe.net 12/20 change in TOU policy, I’ve just procured a domain name and I’m awaiting ICANN confirmation.
My question is about switching browsers in order to create a quick page within the domain register’s website while the domain name is temporarily ‘parked’ at aplus.net.
Currently I’m using OS X Tiger 10.4.2 on a G4 PowerBook with Safari 2.0.1 as the browser and Earthlink is my dial-up ISP.
I need to install Mozilla from version 1.4 and I’m downloading version 1.7.12 in order to create the temporary park page and then switch back to using Safari to finish up and present my new tribe.
1. Is there anything I should know about installing Mozilla?
2. Once I install Mozilla, how do I switch browsers?
3. Are there any potential conflicts switching between Safari & Mozilla browsers?
I’m not much of a slacker, but my back is up against the wall for the next 72 hours. I don’t wish to have s computer snafu and miss the deadline. Maybe I’m just being paranoid for no good reason but any advice or URL to provide answers would be greatly appreciated.
